Burna Boy, otherwise Damini Ogulu, hit the city of Dallas leaving the town on fire!
Saturday May 25, 2019 was a frenzy at Longhorn Ballroom located in Dallas, Texas USA, while growing crowds awaited entry to what is now considered as the “hottest show of the summer,” all pun intended. The show was packed out, bottles over-flowed, couples danced as the DJ warmed up the room before the guest performers.
The Nigerian singer/songwriter graced the stage to screams and applause booming throughout the building. A live band, and backup vocalist accompanied Burna while he sang hits such as “Sekkle Down,” “Don Gorgon,” “Soke, “Rock Your Body,” and “Yawa Dey.” Fans were in a complete uproar. His female fans left all shyness at the door, grabbing at his waistline, while he grooved to the beat of various melodies-it was truly a sight to see!
Towards the ending of the show Burna Boy took some time out to direct a special message to one of his close friends, and fellow musician. With the music turned down, he addressed the crowd asking for a moment of silence. He then asked the crowd to repeat after him when he recited “Free Naira Marley”
The chants of FREE NAIRA MARLEY rose and fell, then Burna turned the music back up to perform his hit single “Ye,” from the billboard charted album Outside, closing out the show with a bang.
Burna Boy is indeed an artist, performer, and talented musician running a race all his own.
